LIFE Biodiv’Paysanne is a project supported by the European Commission running until 2027 in the Occitanie region. It is coordinated by the Conservatoire d’espaces naturels d’Occitanie, accompanied by 6 associated beneficiaries.

ANA-CEN Ariège

The Ana–Conservatoire d’Espaces Naturels Ariège is dedicated to the study of biodiversity, natural environments, fauna and flora and the relationships between humans and nature throughout Ariège. A charitable association registered under French law 1901, it brings together 500 members and volunteers and a team of multidisciplinary salaried professionals. Its actions revolve around four complementary areas of activity: naturalist studies and expertise; the management of species and natural areas; supporting territories and promoting local biodiversity; awareness, education and training for the preservation and respect of the environment.

Conservatoire Botanique National Pyrénées et Midi-Pyrénées

The CBNPMP is a partnership organisation, member of the network of national botanical conservatories approved by the State under articles L.410-10 and D.416.1 of the environmental code, which exercises public service missions. It contributes, in compliance with state policies, local authorities or their groupings and for its approved territory, to the knowledge and conservation of flora, fungus and their habitats with the objectives of: developing and improving knowledge; managing and enhancing data; conservation management and ecological restoration; support with scientific and technical expertise; information, sensitise and mobilise.

Fédération des Conservatoires d'Espaces Naturels

The Fédération des Conservatoires d’espaces naturels (FCEN) aims to promote exchanges between member conservatoires in order to strengthen their actions in the field. It also represents them in all formal and informal bodies at national and international level. It is designated as an associated beneficiary of LIFE Biodiv’Paysanne. As such, its mission is to contribute to communication and dissemination of results to the public, elected officials and decision-makers, agricultural actors and managers of natural areas. It also contributes to networking at national and European level as well as to the post-LIFE plan.

Solagro is an associative company that supports agroecology, energy and food transitions. It is characterized by a systemic approach to the challenges that weigh on living organisms and the environment. With 40 years of experience, with its multidisciplinary team, Solagro combines skills in engineering, applied research, leadership and training. It also offers a long-term agricultural and food prospective vision – Afterres2050. The association is particularly committed, with farmers and territorial actors, to the dual challenge of adapting farms to climate change (LIFE Artisan and LIFE AgriAdapt) and preserving biodiversity on farms (LIFE Biodiv’ Farmer, LiFE Food & Biodiversity, OSAE, HERBEA…).

Terres de liens Midi-Pyrénées et Languedoc Roussillon

Terres de Liens Midi-Pyrénées and Languedoc Roussillon: Terre de Liens is a grassroots movement whose objectives are to preserve agricultural land in order to preserve its nourishing vocation, to fight against speculation and land grabbing and to promote the development of agriculture that respects its environment and provides jobs. Terre de Liens carries out farm acquisition operations with the objective of maintaining agricultural activity over multiple generations. Environmental rural leases are signed with farmers. The Terre de Liens associative network develops awareness-raising, leadership and support activities for all audiences (farmers, consumers, local authorities, public authorities, economic actors). As part of the LIFE Biodiv’Paysanne programme, Terre de Liens undertakes actions to acquire, diagnose and support farms as well as disseminating the programme.

Building a sustainable web design site consists in reducing its impacts throughout its life cycle, from its design, through its use, its transport if necessary and this, until its treatment at the end of its life. Eco-friendly web design thus makes it possible to create sites that consume less energy in 4 stages: design, web hosting, consultation by Internet users and site administration.

The LIFE Biodiv’Paysanne site is hosted by Infomaniak, a Swiss green web hosting company, which offsets all its CO2 emissions at 200% https://www.infomaniak.com/en/ecology. It was created on the basis of eco-friendly designing with a clean design, light contents, useful functionalities and requests limited to the essentials in order to provide a unique and effective experience to the user.
