Les étapes clés - Formation Ferme d'En Bidou

An update on multi-site management plans

During 2023, three meetings were held with the people concerned by this action and the scientific representatives of CEN Occitanie. These meetings were about :

  1. The objectives of these new management documents: reflection on a larger scale, greater coherence of actions, optimization of the time allocated, and a relevant and thoughtful landship strategy.
  2. Possible obstacles to this approach: heterogeneity of sites (contexts, environments, species), land complexity depending on the sites, heterogeneous state of knowledge depending on groups of species.
  3. The sections of a simple management plan which must be adapted to a multi-site approach: action sheets, maps, land history and management history, etc.
  4. Tools and methods to be developed: use of Graphab (modeling of ecological connectivity), creation of heat maps representing inventory efforts at the scale of the network of sites, prioritization of intervention, etc.

Building a sustainable web design site consists in reducing its impacts throughout its life cycle, from its design, through its use, its transport if necessary and this, until its treatment at the end of its life. Eco-friendly web design thus makes it possible to create sites that consume less energy in 4 stages: design, web hosting, consultation by Internet users and site administration.

The LIFE Biodiv’Paysanne site is hosted by Infomaniak, a Swiss green web hosting company, which offsets all its CO2 emissions at 200% https://www.infomaniak.com/en/ecology. It was created on the basis of eco-friendly designing with a clean design, light contents, useful functionalities and requests limited to the essentials in order to provide a unique and effective experience to the user.
